Monra Prohibited Use Policy
Version: 2026-09-22
This Prohibited Use Policy forms part of the Monra Terms of Service. It applies to every Monra account, user, authorised user, transaction, wallet, invoice, payment link, recipient, client record, and use of the Monra Services.
You may not use, attempt to use, or enable another person to use Monra for any activity described below.
1. Illegal and abusive activity
- Violating any law, regulation, court order, sanctions programme, export restriction, payment-network rule, or provider requirement.
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing, sanctions evasion, tax evasion, trafficking, fraud, theft, extortion, bribery, corruption, or proceeds of crime.
- Deceptive, unfair, predatory, exploitative, or abusive practices.
- Harassment, threats, exploitation, non-consensual material, child sexual abuse material, or activity that creates a risk of harm.
2. Fraud and misrepresentation
- Impersonating another person or business or misrepresenting identity, ownership, authority, location, transaction purpose, source of funds, or beneficial ownership.
- Using forged, stolen, synthetic, or misleading identity or business documents.
- Account takeovers, phishing, scams, investment fraud, romance scams, advance-fee schemes, fraudulent refunds, chargeback abuse, or triangulation fraud.
- Creating transactions with yourself or related parties to fabricate volume, evade controls, or manipulate records.
3. Restricted financial activity
- Unauthorised money transmission, currency exchange, cheque cashing, debt collection, bail bonds, lending, credit repair, securities, brokerage, investment management, escrow, custody, or other regulated financial services. Where Bridge is used, its restricted investment/credit services, money-services and other financial-business categories apply even if the activity is licensed or otherwise lawful. A licence alone is not provider approval.
- Transactions on behalf of undisclosed third parties or use of bank accounts or wallets you do not own or control, except where both the enabled Monra product and applicable provider agreement expressly permit the third-party payor or recipient.
- Ponzi or pyramid schemes, high-yield investment programmes, guaranteed-return schemes, and multi-level marketing prohibited by the applicable provider (not only deceptive multi-level marketing).
- Circumventing transaction limits, eligibility rules, monitoring, holds, reserves, reporting, or identity checks.
4. Restricted commerce and content
- Unlawful gambling or gaming, or gambling activity not expressly approved by every applicable provider.
- Controlled substances, illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, pseudo-pharmaceuticals, or substances designed to imitate illegal drugs.
- Counterfeit, stolen, unauthorised, sanctioned, or illegally imported goods.
- Weapons, explosives, unlawful defence articles, or regulated goods sold without required authorisation.
- Adult content or services, sexual services, or exploitative content.
- Products or services that infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, consumer, or other rights.
- Activity prohibited by Bridge, a financial partner, a payment network, Coinbase, an asset issuer, or another provider used for the transaction.
5. Platform and blockchain abuse
- Malware, ransomware, denial-of-service activity, credential theft, unauthorised access, vulnerability exploitation, or interference with Monra or another system.
- Unauthorised automated scraping, bulk account creation, abusive bots, load testing, or misuse of APIs. Normal use of Monra's application is not prohibited by this restriction.
- Obscuring transaction origin or destination through mixers, tumblers, peel chains, privacy-enhancing services, or other techniques when used to evade compliance controls or facilitate unlawful activity.
- Sending unsupported assets, tokens, or NFTs; interacting with malicious contracts; address poisoning; dusting attacks; or attempts to cause another user to sign an unintended transaction.
- Using Monra to manipulate markets, evade an asset freeze, exploit a protocol, or receive proceeds of a hack.
6. Enforcement
Monra may restrict its application, request information, suspend or close accounts, preserve relevant records and report activity where permitted or required by law. Providers exercise their own transaction, restriction and recovery powers under their agreements and applicable law. This Policy does not give Monra a general right to take wallet assets or debit a bank account. Restrictions must respect mandatory rights.
An exception is valid only where the relevant rules allow an exception and the party whose restriction applies gives prior written approval. No exception can override law. Approval from Monra does not override Bridge, Coinbase, bank, network, issuer, or legal restrictions. Provider approval does not obligate Monra to permit the activity. This summary does not narrow the full restrictions in the applicable documents linked on the Provider Terms page.
